Large Walnut End Grain Cutting Board (24" x 18" x 1.5")

Our boards are hand-made in Phoenix, USA from 100% black walnut hardwood, creating a well-crafted and beautiful kitchen centerpiece. The extra large 24" x 18" cutting surface will accommodate even the largest roasts or turkey. Wood is purchased locally, cut into small pieces, glued back together so that the end grain is exposed on the cutting surface, then sanded and finished with a butcher block oil for a brilliant, food-safe finish. End grain walnut is self-healing, helps keep knives sharp, and creates the most solid and sturdy board and cutting surface. We offer an optional juice groove on one side of board, great for cutting roasts, fruit, and vegetables without the mess.
