Go Board Game 19 x 19 Walnut Hardwood with Authentic Chinese Jizi Stones

This pure walnut hardwood Go board is perfect for display on your coffee table when not in use. The lines are engraved deeply into the wood to better keep the pieces in place. Our Go board includes a full set of 180 white and 181 black playing pieces with two muslin burlap bags for storage. These high-end 'Jizi' stones are biconvex (rounded on both sides) and are made by hand through a furnace production process in China. Jizi stones are similar to popular Yunzi stones, but have less impurities. These high-quality stones are more durable than alternatives made from cheaper melamine and porcelain.

Go is likely the world's oldest board game, originating in China roughly 4,000 years ago, and is still a large part of Chinese culture today. It's a strategy game for two players, where each player aims to capture more 'territory' on the board than their opponent. Go is easy to learn but take years to master.
